The article “Maimane ushers in new era for DA as Party tries to Woo Black Voters” is missing the main thrust behind the party’s way forward.  The reality is in fact a party that is forward thinking and ready to tackle issues such as negative suggestions with regard to property rights, restrictive labour relations and horrific restrictions in ownership of companies.  Even the suggested new immigration regulations will be tackled.  The DA’s leadership is not only endorsed by the outgoing leadership but has been endorsed and been supported by the rank and file members of the Democratic Alliance.  All the fellow Democrats at the conference rose as one to welcome in the new leadership team.  It was amazing and breathtaking to be present when this emotional event took place.

There has been so much negativity written about South Africa and its economy and it became clear that the only way forward to ensure our future, is through a clear thinking Democratic Alliance.  Our country is facing a watershed election in 2016, the only province that can show proper structured growth is the Western Province.  The other provinces desperately need to stamp out corruption and lethargy.  The leadership of the Democratic Alliance has invited South Africa to join hands with it as equal partners in ensuring that each city will be able to deliver services that every single citizen so rightly deserves.
