Trade union Solidarity puts retrenchments at 62,000 this year

solidariteitMoneyweb reports that trade union Solidarity union estimates conservatively that retrenchments will cost 62,000 people their jobs in 2015.  With this in mind, the union on Tuesday announced a plan to mitigate the impact of retrenchments on its members.
