Suspension of SABC journalists ‘affects everyone’, says Solidarity

solidariteitNetwerk24 reports that Dr Dirk Hermann, chief executive of trade union Solidarity, says that the suspension of three SABC journalists affects all South Africans.  The case involves “more than labour rights” and affects two important issues, namely freedom of speech and what information is in the public interest, said Hermann.
