South32 to cut 400 jobs at Hotazel manganese mine, says NUM

south32Fin24 reports that the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) said on Monday that South32 plans to cut 447 jobs at its Hotazel manganese mine in Kuruman.  This is the latest in a slew of layoffs in the embattled industry.
