BDLive reports that chairwoman of the South African Airways (SAA) board, Dudu Myeni, says that salaries paid to the carrier’s pilots are “exorbitant and unaffordable”, with clauses in an agreement between SAA and the pilots’ union preventing a “significant” reduction in costs.
