Nene still seeking CPI-linked pay increases for public sector officials

neneDonwald Pressly reports that Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene said on Thursday that the national treasury was still seeking public service salary adjustments that were in line with the consumer price index (CPI) after a significant period of “above-inflation” increases.
