Mining Weekly Online reports that global mining company Glencore on Monday rejected the National Union of Mineworker’s (NUM’s) allegations that the company had failed to comply with its social and labour plan regarding severance packages, as baseless, saying it was up to the Department of Mineral Resources (DMR) to “enforce compliance”.
