Cape Times reports that a 27-year-old Kleinvlei man was due to appear in the Blue Downs Magistrate’s Court on Monday morning following his arrest last week for the murder of a metro police officer in February.  Ben Koopman was gunned down while on duty.  Two people were spotted fleeing from the scene with his service pistol and a police radio.
