Alcohol ban to cost SA 18,000 jobs, while wine industry to lose R1bn

westerncapeCape Argus reports that it was revealed last week through the Western Cape Special Adjustment Budget that the Covid-19 alcohol ban was on course to cost R1 billion in losses for the wine industry.  In addition, there was the potential loss of 18,000 jobs.
