Cops investigate plot to 'assassinate' NUM leader at Barberton strike meeting

numNews24 reports that police have not yet been able to establish whether two men arrested in possession of dangerous weapons at a strike meeting at Barberton Mines were part of a plot to assassinate a top union official.
