The Star reports that a group of nurses have called for the outright rejection of their traditional white uniform which they say is holding back transformation.  Historically, the white uniform was designed for Florence Nightingale’s School of Nursing in the 1860s in England and signified hygiene and cleanliness.  However, the pressure group and nurses’ association, Young Nurses Indaba, this week declared a #NightingaleMustFall campaign.
