It is at this time of the year that the business community are purchasing and building up for the Christmas period.  Furthermore, many of us in the public are starting to do our purchase for the end of the year holidays.  The comparison year on year would be the real story and there we see that compared with September last year we have deteriorated.

Unfortunately the real issue is that government is sending out so many negative messages to the business community that businesses especially the small ones are very nervous before they invest in themselves.  We read much about the investment strike by the business community and unfortunately this is caused directly by all the regulation and negative governmental comments.
