‘Toothless’ mining sector jobs pact won’t stem layoffs, says Amcu’s Mathunjwa

implatsheadgear smlBusiness Report writes that Joseph Mathunjwa, president of the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (Amcu), believes that the recently-signed pact by the state and mining companies to stem the wave of job losses in the sector is likely to do little to stem layoffs as it does not include a total freeze on job losses.
