BDLive reports that International Ferro Metals (IFM), a London-listed ferrochrome producer in SA, has gone into business rescue, citing Eskom’s expensive and irregular electricity supply, “militant union activity” and state-ordered safety stoppages of its furnaces for compounding the negative effect of the weak ferrochrome price.
