‘Ludicrous’ that some gold miners still get R4,000 a month, says labour expert

boardroomtableThe Citizen reports that labour expert Terry Bell says he is hopeful, but not optimistic, about a solution being found in the gold mining sector wage talks.  Last week, the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM), the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (Amcu), Solidarity and the United Association of SA (Uasa) rejected the employers’ final offers.
