SA lost 3,000 jobs in first quarter of 2020, but impact of lockdown not yet felt

Stats SAFin24 reports that Statistics SA announced on Tuesday in its latest Quarterly Employment Statistics (QES) bulletin that total employment in SA’s non-agricultural formal sector fell by 3,000 between December 2019 and March 2020.
