City Press reports that according to Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (Amcu) president Joseph Mathunjwa, the union knew there would be a bloodbath of jobs if Sibanye-Stillwater’s acquisition of Lonmin’s Marikana operations was approved by the Competition Commission.
